Activity is down here, so I thought “let’s post something”.
This is a quick generation test of a Taiga biome. Everything is default, except for the sea level (lowered) and the mountains/hills (DisableBiomeHeight, CustomHeightControl, Fracture).
It’s just one biome.
Sadly it’s difficult to implement these things in a normal TC world as you would need a heck of a lot of border biomes to prevent colossal walls, but it looks nice nonetheless.
Oh, and by the way: how are you able to capture screenshots with a big render distance on your older-than-Julius-Caesar laptop? Well, I have a beefier computer now, that’s why.
In combination with height-specific trees/ores, SurfaceandGroundControl and stuff like that, this could become a quite nice and realistically-shaped valley.
Now I should find a way to get the same results without FractureVertical:-10.
