I've made a new build of TC for Forge 1.7.10. I used the 2.7.2 source code, added in Rutger's "Use a single layer for isles" patch that increases world generation speed and then downgraded the Forge layer to work with Forge for MC 1.7.x. Hopefully I didn't break too many things!

I added a bit of new in-game UI by the way to make things easier for new players and modpack makers. The in-game UI replaces the vanilla world creation and world selection screens and helps when creating and deleting worlds. The same UI is available in the next version of MCW by the way and includes pre-generator and world border settings as well as a pre-generator progress information screen.
The in-game UI is primarily meant to serve players and is meant to ensure that they don't have to know anything about TC/MCW to be able to use it. So the plan is basically: for world designers and modpack creators there will be TCEE and/or notepad++ and a host of other tools, for players there will be in-game UI. World designers and modpack designers should be able to package their downloads in such a way that players can install everything with a few clicks and select and generate a world in-game (without fiddling with any configuration files or copying all kinds of directories). That's the big plan anyway (with thanks to MCPitman), this UI is just a first step. The code is Forge SP specific so I don't think Rutger will be able to use it for Bukkit but ofc I'll share it with him a.s.a.p.
MCW 1.0.6 is incoming very soon by the way. It'll bring MCW up to TC2.7.2, provides a big performance boost, adds a Turbo mode for the pre-generator that speeds things up a lot, adds a swanky new in-game UI and some other minor usability enhancements!
*Edit: New (default) worlds created with this version will look different from worlds created using TC 2.6.3. Some biomes are swapped around, this is normal.
*Note: Apparently with some world seeds only oceans spawn, try a different seed! This is a known TC 2.7.2 bug.
